Purpose & job openings
Every year, the students' placement rate at ESMA are pretty impressive: 90% only 6 months after their graduation. Firstly, the school aims to train generalists, that will also have the opportunity to specialize themselves during the creation of their end-of-studies project.
The rich curriculum requires the students to be involved and dedicated to it, but also insures them professionnal success after their graduation.
ESMA CG School Degree brings the students to master the different steps of the production of a animated short film: the pre-production (model design, storyboard, layout, scenario...), the production (modelling, rigging, animation...) and finally the post-production (lighting, rendering and special effects).
The last year of study is the occasion for the students to realize an animated short film, by group of 5 or 6 persons. This short is then presented to a jury of worlwide professionnals.
This curriculum leads to many work perspectives: 3D animator, character designer, 3D generalist, 3D designer, artistic director or director as well.
At ESMA School, each student is given the opportunity to enter a movie or a video-game studio, but also to work as a freelancer.
